Handing over "Ashot Yerkat" crosses to servicemen under the auspices of "Tovmasyan" foundation

The Tovmasyan Foundation stands by the army and the church.
This is evidenced by the many programs we implement with these two structures that are vital to our state.
The close cooperation that has been going on for years continues today. On July 1, Artak Tovmasyan, Chairman of the Foundation's Board of Trustees, presented the Ashot Yerkat crosses to all conscripts in 2021 as a symbol of our faith, peace, unity and longevity.
Not so long ago, during the Artsakh war, Armenian soldiers wore crosses on their uniforms and armor, and in 2012, His Holiness declared the "Ashot Yerkat" cross the "Guardian Cross of the Armenian Army." It is a copy of the cross of King Ashot Iron, which is considered a historical shrine.
For centuries, the church and the faith have united our nation, given strength and confidence to fight for the homeland, to celebrate victories.
Today, we remain true to our motto and reaffirm that WE CAN TOGETHER.
May the cross be the guardian of our soldiers.
