Free consultation by a professor invited from Lebanon

As a result of the cooperation of the Tovmasyan Foundation and  Markos Baghdasaryan, a renowned ophthalmologist, Professor George Sherfan, was invited from Lebanon to Armenia.

Artak Tovmasyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Tovmasyan Foundation, noted that the Foundation had organized a free examination and treatment of servicemen who had acquired visual problems during the war. "Soldiers in need of surgery will be operated on free of charge," Tovmasyan said.

Although the charity event was intended for soldiers with visual impairments during the war, the cooperation was expanded, the doctor also examined individual citizens.

"George Sherfan agreed to come to Armenia to provide medical assistance not only to servicemen, but also to other compatriots," said benefactor Markos Baghdasaryan.

In a few days, George Sherfan managed to examine many soldiers with visual impairments, thus contributing to the recovery and support of the heroes who were wounded in the defense of our homeland.
